July 27, 2005. Start of the Dempster Hwy.

750km of gravel to Inuvik, NWT.

Tomestone Territorial Park.

Dempster Hwy. north.

Smokey Scenery due to wild fires.

Refueling no service to Eagle Plains (371kms).

Not hurt, back on the bike heading north. Who needs mirrors, GPS or a windshield. The GS is tough.

July 28, 2005. The more north we got the deeper the gravel.

Another Ferry crossing the McKenzie River.

It only runs every 45 minutes. So timing is everything.

Ferry starts at 9:30am and runs until 12:30am.

The weather is turning on us.
