...Traveling through Africa for another...

Welcome to our personal 2 Canadians on motorcycles website. We love to travel to different parts of the world on our motorcycles. We decided to share some of our travels, because we love reading about other folks adventures. We are Canadians living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our names are Mike and Ruby. To read a bit more about where we came from, how we got into motorcycles and what we ride check out the link to our names. 

The most common question we get asked is what do we do professionally to get the time off and to afford the trips . . . . Nothing comes easy. It is all possible pending on how much you want to give up and what is important to you. It did take a few years to get in the senior positions we are in now, to be able to do what we want (kind of). We both are contract consultants and work as project managers for Oil & Gas Engineering companies.  The sacrifices we make financially are nothing compared to the memories and experiences we will take away from each trip.  Why wait until retirement, when you might not make it there. 

We wish we could explain our desire to explore the world.  What better way to combine two passions, motorcycling and traveling, to experience the culture, the people and history of a country.
